MENTORING AND WORKSHOPS 

I am happy to announce that I now offer mentoring sessions .  In this growing industry of photography, specifically newborn and baby portraiture, more and more photographers are emerging which is great. It gives everyone out there different styles and options to choose from .

Whether you’re just starting out or would like to improve your photography skills, this newborn workshop is a great way to learn more about lighting, posing and editing to help you get to the next level. While many of my clients tell me I make it look easy, I can promise you that newborn photography is not easy. It’s immensely satisfying at the end of it all but it’s stressful, frustrating, and exhausting. But completely worth the reward.

I am proud to offer mentoring sessions now to teach you the proper and safe way to photograph a newborn baby. I will also help you with social media , show you how to use it for your business , show you how to post ads that bring you clients and all the little secrets for instagram and Facebook that I use , to help me run a successful business !

The Observer Mentoring Session ( class of 3 people )

Come watch all I do during a full newborn session! You’ll be part of a standard newborn session and will get to ask questions while I photograph the baby (baby on beanbag, on props and with mom & dad). No cameras/videos allowed during this workshop. Just come, watch and ask away and take notes .After the session you will see how I edit a couple of photos so that you can learn how I achieve the finished product.

These sessions are done in my studio in the exchange.

Cost is $350 with 50% due at the time of booking as a non-refundable retainer.

One on One Mentorin

Through this mentoring you will be working one on one with me. We will go over everything from how I set up and prep for a session, important safety tips and techniques, how to soothe newborns, lighting, prop selection and posing, including my own workflow and how to shoot for digital backdrops. You will work with me to help pose the baby .After the sessions I will show you how I clean up after a session, and how I post process including watching me edit 3 images. You will be encouraged to bring your camera and take images of each setup that can be used in your portfolio, as well as encouraged to ask questions.

These sessions is in my studio in the exchange.

Cost is $750 with 50% due at time of booking as a non-refundable retainer.
